Making lists

The new year as most know is a time to write resolutions.  But some people use this time to make lists & plans for the year ahead. That’s what appeals to me most. 

So I’ve started on a “to do” list for our home, that is projects I’d like to accomplish in 2019. I am doubtful that they will all happen, some are large and some are small. But it’s helpful to put it all down on paper just the same, for budgeting and figuring out priorities. 

Here’s a few projects I want to tackle in 2019:

- Finish wallpapering dining room & stairway 

- Paint pine coffee table and armoire for recroom
- Paint living room
- Replace front step with larger verandah 

- Replace leather sofa in living room with a slip covered couch 

- Paint bathroom & replace light fixture 

- Pick up some used furniture for cottage bunky 

- Paint exterior porch door & fresh coat of black on shutters 

- Install window boxes 

What projects are you thinking about for this coming year?
